Feature Type - Programming

Description of the Feature : This feature creates phonebook memory naming for a telephone number and displays the name instead of the number on OPCON  for all incoming, outgoing, missed call back calls thro Operator console.

How to Use : Just program the required telephone numbers using 555 command and when you make use of that number in outgoing calls/missed call back thro OPCON, you will get the name displayed instead of the number.

Example:-

 Suppose you want to add a name “CENTREX HYD” for telephone number 4032903348 at location 22.

  • To recheck the programming, see the Phonebook configuration attached to Global Memory configuration
  • Default setting: Phonebook is empty.

Restrictions : This feature and the 555 programming works only with Operator console .The trunk CLI should  be enabled using 206 for using this feature for incoming calls.
