DSS Programming

DSS OP-CON Activate / Deactivate:

Centrex provides DSS OP-CON as an add-on optional product for EPABX systems. The systems are designed to work with / without DSS.

If DSS OP-CON is installed alongwith Centrex EPABX system, it must be activated before use.

Example: To activate the DSS OP-CON, you have to give the command from extension only.

Steps

You Hear

You are in programming mode 

Centrex Dial Tone

 Dial 5411 + 1

No tone, system restarts


  • After DSS OP-CON is activated, DSS OP-CON display shows "Opeartor Absent", as DSS OP-CON is in Opeartor Absent mode.
  • DSS OP-CON is deactivated by default.

Entering into programming mode from DSS OP-CON:

Steps from DSS OP-CON

Display on DSS OP-CON

 Press FUN key

FUN COMMAND ? 

Press 101 

PASSWORD ? 

Press Password say 2345     

PGM COMMAND ? 

Enter Programming command 

OK, COMMAND  !! 

Wrong Programming command  

ERROR, COMMAND!! 




DSS OP-CON Present / Absent:

When DSS OP-CON is installed with the Centrex EPABX system and operator wants to use it, it must be in "Present" mode.

 Dial 5421 + 1

Confirmation tone



  • After DSS OP-CON is present, LCD shows Date and Time with Greeting message
  • Programmed trunk lines land on  DSS OP-CON
  • If an extension dials 9, he gets music and his call lands on DSS OP-CON. A max of 9 extensions can call DSS OP-CON at a time.
